A bank account will improve your Lynk experience as you'll be able to connect it to your Lynk account to move money at lightning speed to and from it, but again, you do not need a bank account to use Lynk.

Your ID is safely stored on our servers to verify your account. Should you forgot your PIN or need to re-verify your account, we use it to confirm your identity.

To convert you JAM-DEX to cash you will fist need to convert to JMD within the app by following these steps then cash out to your linked bank account as usual.

Steps:

1.    Click “More” on the home page and select “Exchange”

2.    Enter the amount to convert and swipe up to submit

3.    Go back to the home page, and click “More” in the bottom right and click “Cash out”

Select the amount you would like to transfer to the account connected to your Lynk account

Lynk Lite users can cash out following these easy steps:

Step 1: Open Lynk on your phone, select “Cash Out” and then ABM. This will open the camera in your Lynk app

Step 2: Choose Cardless Cash option on NCB’s ABM screen and select “Lynk”

Step 3: Then select “Cash Out”

Step 4: Using your Lynk App, scan the QR Code that appears on the ABM screen

To keep your account safe while you Cash Out through our ABM feature, the machine will time-out after 60 seconds of inactivity

Step 5: To pair the ABM with your Lynk wallet, a security code will appear on the ABM screen and your phone. To continue, confirm the numbers match on both devices

Step 6: You’re now connected to the ABM! Go ahead and enter the amount you want to cash out

Step 7: Follow the machine’s regular instructions to complete your Cash Out.

When you signed up you got a unique @username assigned to you based on your full name.
You can change it to something else, but only once, and only before you started sending or receiving money, to ensure users establish a trusted identity on Lynk.
To change your @username, find the "Change Username" card on the home screen of the app, or go to your User Profile and change it in the "Personal Info" section.

Once you are signed in you can change your PIN in the User Profile section:
1) Just click on “Profile” on the lower navigation bar and look for the "Security" section.
2) Select "Update PIN" to change your PIN and follow the instructions on the screen.
Don't choose a PIN that will be easy for others to figure out. Avoid predictable PINs like your birthday or a part of your phone number, and remember you can't use a PIN that's a sequence (like 123456) or has 3 repeating digits (like 111234, or 000000).
