Are there any transaction limits when using Lynk?

Yes. We have a few limits for our fast, safe and secure cash-in, cash-out and transfer features. For cashing in, limits are $50,000 daily from a bank account, and $50,000 monthly from a debit/credit card. For cashing out, limit is $100,000 daily for a bank account. For transferring to another Lynk user, limit is $100,000 daily. New limits are coming soon to give you even more spending power.

Can I send money to anyone using Lynk?

No! No bank account or anything else is needed to use Lynk. As long as you have a smartphone, you can Lynk. A bank account will improve your Lynk experience as you'll be able to connect it to your Lynk account to move money at lightning speed to and from it, but again, you do not need a bank account to use Lynk.

When you signed up you got a unique @username assigned to you based on your full name. You can change it to something else, but only once, and only before you started sending or receiving money, to ensure users establish a trusted identity on Lynk. To change your @username, find the "Change Username" card on the home screen of the app, or go to your User Profile and change it in the "Personal Info" section.

How do I change my PIN?

Once you are signed in you can change your PIN in the User Profile section: 1) Just click on “Profile” on the lower navigation bar and look for the "Security" section. 2) Select "Update PIN" to change your PIN and follow the instructions on the screen. Don't choose a PIN that will be easy for others to figure out. Avoid predictable PINs like your birthday or a part of your phone number, and remember you can't use a PIN that's a sequence (like 123456) or has 3 repeating digits (like 111234, or 000000).

Our current options include: 1. Scanning the merchant’s QR Code if it is on display and send the funds to them. You can also scan their code from their Lynk app. OR 2. You can have the merchant send you a payment request if they do not have a QR code visible at their business. OR 3. Selecting the “Transfer” button on the home screen and search for the user. You can do so by either searching for their name, username, or phone number.

At the bottom right side of the Lynk home screen, you will see a "Pay with QR" button. Go ahead and tap that button. Point your phone at a Lynk QR code of any user or merchant and we'll do the rest. Each QR code is unique, so as soon as it's scanned, you'll see the transfer screen with the user whose QR code you scanned, selected as the recipient. At this point, all that is missing is to enter the amount and swipe up to confirm.

To re-add your card, you will need complete the card registration process to confirm that you are the owner of the card being added to Lynk. This process is done in a few quick steps: 1. Select the card type you wish to connect to Lynk (Credit/Debit) and enter the card information. 2. As an extra security feature, we will charge a small REFUNDABLE amount to your card for confirmation. 3. Check your credit/debit card records to confirm the charge using your online banking platform or contacting your card issuer’s customer care centre. 4. Once the charge is confirmed, return to the app and go to the add credit/debit section to record the amount charged and your card will be added to your Lynk wallet.
