Can I transfer money to multiple Lynk users at a time?

Yes, our Batch Payments feature allows you to send money to multiple Lynk users by uploading a CSV file containing each user's Lynk ID, TRN, and the amount to be sent.

Can I make one-off payments to a single Lynk user?

If you need to send money to a single Lynk user, you can use the Create Payments button from your dashboard. After you click create payment, select ‘single payment’ then proceed through the steps to instantly send money to a single user.

LynkBiz offers several payment acceptance methods:  

  1. Scan to Pay: Your account provides one or more QR codes, depending on your staff account setup, allowing Lynk customers to scan and pay using the Lynk app. 
  2. Find and Pay: Lynk users can search for your business name in the Lynk mobile app to make payments. 
  3. Pay with Lynk: An e-commerce solution that integrates a payment link into your website’s checkout, enabling customers to pay using their Lynk accounts. 
  4. Payment Link: Create links through the LynkBiz platform to send to customers, directing them to a payment page in the Lynk mobile app.

How should I enter my address?

To ensure successful validation of your address, please follow these guidelines:

Enter a Complete and Valid Address: Provide a complete address that accurately reflects your location. For example, if you have a long address like "123 Deanery Avenue, Eden Gardens, Kingston 3" fill the form as:
• Address Line 1: 123 Deanery Avenue
• Address Line 2: Eden Gardens
• City: Kingston 3
• Parish: Kingston

If you have a shorter address, like "Bull Bay, St. Andrew" fill the form as:
• Address Line 1: Lot 34
• Address Line 2: Rest Haven
• City: Bull Bay PO
• Parish: St. Andrew

By ensuring your address is correctly formatted and complete, you can avoid validation errors and successfully collect your remittance. If issues persist, double-check that all fields are filled out correctly and try again after a few minutes.

Why can’t I use Lynk on a rooted device?

Rooting disables the built-in security features of the OS on the device and can leave you open to a malware attack. To ensure that we provide the best security for your data and your money, we prohibit the use of Lynk on rooted devices. If you choose to unroot your device then you will be able to enjoy using Lynk on it.

Why do I have to install Lynk from the official google play store?

Lynk can only be used when it is installed from the official google play store so that we can ensure you have the safest user experience. App versions obtained anywhere else other than the official google play store are not distributed by Lynk.

How do I send money through Western Union using Lynk?

Lynk doesn't currently support sending money through Western Union. Lynk's services are tailored for receiving money via Western Union or MoneyGram. If you need to receive funds sent from abroad, Lynk provides a convenient and secure way to do so.

For sending money, you might consider Western Union's direct services.

What information do I need to provide to receive a Western Union money transfer?

You need to provide Lynk with your valid address, the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN), the sender's full name, and your relationship to the sender. Additionally, you may need to disclose the purpose of the funds and your occupation. Depending on certain factors, further information might also be required.Ensure that the address you have provided is your correct full address. Do not repeat the same information across multiple address fields. Each field should contain distinct details of your address. Review your address for common errors such as missing house numbers, incorrect city names, or invalid postal codes.Also, ensure that you enter the exact senders name as shown on the senders receipt.
