How can I convert my JAM-DEX to cash?

To convert you JAM-DEX to cash you will fist need to convert to JMD within the app by following these steps then cash out to your linked bank account as usual.

Steps:

1.    Click “More” on the home page and select “Exchange”

2.    Enter the amount to convert and swipe up to submit

3.    Go back to the home page, and click “More” in the bottom right and click “Cash out”

Select the amount you would like to transfer to the account connected to your Lynk account

How do I send JAM-DEX to another person or merchant?

Verify that the recipient has a JAM-DEX account then follow these steps: 

1.    Before opening your Lynk App, save the recipient as a contact on your phone and allow Lynk to access your contacts.

2.    Open your Lynk app, on the homepage click “Send/Ask”  

3.    Select “JAM-DEX” from the account list.

4.    Search for your recipient byname or phone number.

5.    Enter the amount and swipe up to send.

1.    On the home screen, click the arrow in the top right corner of the widget(in blue) to view balances in all currencies.

2.    Your balances appear showing both JMD and JAM-DEX balances.

3.    Select JAM-DEX To view yourJAM-DEX transaction history.

Note: The transaction list seen on the homescreen does not include JAM-DEX.

How can I use my JAM-DEX dollars?

Similar to your regular JMD wallet, you can transfer JAM-DEX to other Lynk wallet holders with JAM-DEX accounts or spend your JAM-DEX dollars with Lynk merchants.

To pay bills or purchase mobile top up from your JAM-DEX balance, follow these steps to convert your JAM-DEX to JMD and complete your transaction.

Steps

1.    Click “More” on the home page and select “Exchange”

2.    Enter the amount to convert and swipe up to submit

3.    Go back to the home page, and click “More” in the bottom right

4.    Click “Top Up” if you’d like to send credit, or “BillPay” if you’d like to pay a bill

5.    Select any mobile number or one of our 100+ billers, enter your details, and send your funds instantly!

How do I cancel a bill payment?

Lynk payments take place in real time and cannot be cancelled once a payment is initiated. This means all payments are final and cannot be refunded. If you make a mistake in the payment, please contact the biller directly.

How do I know if the payment was unsuccessful?

You can check the status of your transaction by going to ‘transaction history’ then clicking on the transaction to view the transaction details.  You will see a ‘failed’ status if the transaction was not successful.

How long does the payment take to be completed?

Your payment will be reflected with your bill provider within 24 hours. If you’re not seeing an updated account, please contact your biller.

Why can't I find my bill provider?

What does my account number look like?

Your bill account number is generated by the provider for their billing purposes and identifies your account with that provider. Different billers place the account number in different places; in some cases, you'll see your account number right before your account name. Learn More.

Where can I find my bill account number?

The bill account number should be on the bill, statement, or invoice you receive from the company you want to pay. If you can’t find your account number, please reach out to your provider for assistance.

How do I change my @username?

When you signed up you got a unique @username assigned to you based on your full name.
You can change it to something else, but only once, and only before you started sending or receiving money, to ensure users establish a trusted identity on Lynk.
To change your @username, find the "Change Username" card on the home screen of the app, or go to your User Profile and change it in the "Personal Info" section.

Why do I need to do a video to sign up for Lynk?

We ask you to take a video selfie so we can compare it to the ID you choose to use for your verification. Video allows us to verify your identity and is another method that we have in place to further help us to safeguard you and your funds from potential fraudulent activity.
