Is Lynk only for Jamaicans?

Yes. In order to sign up to use Lynk, you must be at least 18 years old, have a smartphone and a valid Jamaican government issued ID.

Will Lynk charge a fee for using the wallet?

Starting December 1, 2024, a 2.5% + GCT fee will apply to cash-ins made using a credit card. For example, transferring $5,000 from your credit card to your Lynk Wallet will cost you a fee of $143.75 ($125 + $18.75). Cash-ins made with a debit card are free of charges for now. Your bank may or may not charge additional fees to cash-in to Lynk.

All other Lynk transactions—such as sending or requesting money from friends and family or shopping with verified businesses—are currently 100% free, with no hidden fees.

How do I cash out?

Lynk Lite users can cash out following these easy steps:

Step 1: Open Lynk on your phone, select “Cash Out” and then ABM. This will open the camera in your Lynk app

Step 2: Choose Cardless Cash option on NCB’s ABM screen and select “Lynk”

Step 3: Then select “Cash Out”

Step 4: Using your Lynk App, scan the QR Code that appears on the ABM screen

To keep your account safe while you Cash Out through our ABM feature, the machine will time-out after 60 seconds of inactivity

Step 5: To pair the ABM with your Lynk wallet, a security code will appear on the ABM screen and your phone. To continue, confirm the numbers match on both devices

Step 6: You’re now connected to the ABM! Go ahead and enter the amount you want to cash out

Step 7: Follow the machine’s regular instructions to complete your Cash Out.

 Yes, it’s that easy! Your Cash out limit is $40,000 daily! Level up your account for more spending power and even more ways to cash out!

How do I transfer cash-in to my account?

We have provided several options for our Lynkies to cash-in and use Lynk every day.

●     Got an NCB account? Connect it to your Lynk wallet to enjoy a simple cash-in option

●     You can also cash-in by using any local credit or debit card that is Mastercard or Visa enabled

●     Soon we will also be adding NCB iABMs that will allow persons without bank accounts to also add money to their Lynk wallets. They can access the iABM without the use of a debit card to add money to the wallet

What does card registration mean and how do the process work?

Card registration is the process of confirming that you are the owner of the card being added to Lynk. This process is done in a few quick steps:

1. Select the card type (Credit/Debit) you wish to connect to Lynk and enter the card information.  

2. We will charge a random REFUNDABLE amount to your card.  

3. You will check your credit card records by using online banking or contacting your card issuer’s customer care center.

4. You then confirm the random amount to us and ka-ching, your card is added to your Lynk wallet.
